Complete Vocal Technique (CVT)

Singing is not that difficult – everybody can learn to sing!

CVT is a modern, groundbreaking pedagogical singing method that states thanks to scientific researches that everybody can learn to sing and that unconventional, modern sounds as i.e. loud singing (often referred to as "Belting") or effects (i.e. "distortion" and "rattle") can be produced in a healthy manner.

CVT is not distinguishing between different styles of music but is offering an overview of the many possibilities of the human voice. Compared to other more conventional singing methods there are no myths appearing in CVT, the reason therefore is that this technique is based upon anatomy and physiology. CVT is able to explain singing technique in such a way that every singer can know what she or he is doing. This way we can work very effectively and concretely on the medium "voice".

The OVERVIEW of CVT

Below you can find the four main sections of CVT. With help of this overview you can dive into the single subjects of this technique without losing orientation. You can also focus effectively on your weak areas as well as combine these elements the way you want, in order to find the sound you are looking for.

The four main sections are:

  • The three main principles. These are fundamental and represent the basics for healthy singing in general, regardless of style.

  • The four vocal modes. Here you can chose which `gear` you want to sing in.

  • Sound colours, which allows you to sing either in a lighter or a darker sound colour.

  • Effects, which are special add on`s to your singing.

Here you can read more about this technique!
